Higher image sharpness, drawing accuracy and depth for your books, brochures, catalogues, magazines.
Let us introduce you the possibilities of printing with various raster types, incl. the Spekta 2 hybrid raster (650 lpi).
Spekta 2 hybrid raster from Dainippon Screen with a frequency of 650 lpi*
- Very fine hybrid raster of the second generation (minimum point size 10 µm)
- Reproducibility of up to 0.5% tone value
- 650 lpi lineature corresponds to an AM raster frequency of 256 lines per cm
- For all production types (colour images, details) including colour areas
- Printing is recommended on high-quality coated papers (glossy and matt), for print on LWC and woodfree offset we recommend only 350 lpi lineature
- Production repeatability – any repeated print remains always the same in colour
To achieve the expected result, it is important to have the print data prepared
in high resolution, at least 500 DPI.
AM raster from Dainippon Screen with a frequency of 370 lpi
- Very fine raster with amplitude modulation
- In principle, it is an AM raster with the frequency of 145 lines per cm
- For all production types; it is distinguished by a very smooth raster areas and perfect drawing accuracy of the print
- The print is recommended for high-quality coated papers (glossy and matt)
AM raster with a frequency of 175 and 200 lpi (most commonly used rasters)
- Approximately, these correspond to rasters with a frequency of 70 and 80 lines per cm
- Possibility of printing on almost all types of paper (except for very coarse surfaces)
- For all production types
